I am letting a friend borrow some of my past Homeschooling Curriculum, which involves mountains and mountains of books. She’s not putting pressure on me to get them to her. However, I’m putting that pressure on myself, because I know she needs to know what and how to plan for the upcoming year.
The good thing about doing things for other people is that it prompts you to get what you need to get done for yourself. Like cleaning your house when you know you have company coming over. A great motivator! I am not ready to start thinking about school. I still want to think summer vacation . But, as a homeschool mom…if you want to be successful with your kids’ education, some prep work is necessary. So here I am today unexpectedly working on the 2015-2016 school year. Thanks Kristi (my fellow homeschool comrade) for unknowingly pushing me to get this done. I know I’ll be happy tonight when I lay my head down on my pillow.
